“A rose smells like a rose, whether you name it Rose or not”

I think there is no such a woman in the world whom one have not ever given a rose.  There is no person who has not heard the sweet smell of flowers. But even though we love to look at these beautiful petals, which are woven into a magical flower, inhale the heady aroma of this, but not everyone knows about the properties of the roses.

Another prominent Central Asian scholar, philosopher and physician Avicenna wrote in his treatise ‘The Canon of Medicine ” about the healing properties of rose for the human body.
The main curative roses ingredient is their  essential oil. According to a legend, the first essential oil was  created in India. The emperor decided to make his daughter a birthday gift and filled the pond near the castle Jehangir with rose petals. After some time an  essence appeared on the water surface that since was named an oil of Jehangir.

Rose is used in both traditional and alternative medicine. Since ancient times rose oil used for stomach and liver diseases. Now one uses the tea with roses with inflammation of the kidneys, liver, in kidney stones, abdominal pain, tuberculosis, bronchitis, upper respiratory tract and influenza.
Rose petals are rich in vitamin C, carotene, B vitamins, also they have zinc, manganese, phosphorus, silicon and chromium. Rose petals contain minerals such as calcium, potassium, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium and selenium which struggles with the skin aging.
Also, roses are widely used in cosmetics. Extract of rose moisturizes well  the skin, contributing to its restoration, has a tonic effect, soothes and rejuvenates the skin, restores the natural color and elasticity of the skin, leaving it soft and tender.
Rose holds an important place in aromatherapy. It relieves stress and anxiety, can cure depression. The essential oil helps to improve mood and sleeping.
